Opening Range Trade Plan Indicator

Opening Range Trade Plan builds today's opening range the moment it closes, then shows you exactly what to do with it. A live on-chart panel compares today's range to your recent history, flags whether it's running large, medium, or small, and calculates your stop and position size in real time — so you walk into the session with a plan, not a guess.

Every session starts the same way: the first few minutes set the range, and everything after tends to key off it. Opening Range Trade Plan watches that window for you, then does the rest of the math automatically.

Once the opening range closes, the indicator draws the range on your chart, extends the high and low as reference lines for the rest of the session, and — the moment price breaks out — projects three extension levels beyond the range so you have clear reference zones instead of guessing where price might run.

A live stats panel sits on the chart the whole time: today's range size, how it compares to your recent session history, and an instant Large / Medium / Small read at a glance. From there it calculates a stop size and a position size built around a fixed dollar-risk target, so the sizing math is done before you're in the trade. Panel text size, text color, background color, and opacity are all adjustable to match how you already run your charts.
